I'M FEELING 22...

Last week I celebrated my 22nd birthday in the best of ways... an entire week of celebration, good food, and family.  Today I'm sharing a few of my favorite pictures from the week (although I have to admit I took entirely too few pictures.)
It was a birthday to remember and I feel so blessed to have incredible family and friends who took the opportunity to make me feel like a true princess.

A few of the highlights? Samples from the Chelsea Market in NYC and experiencing all of the different foods and smells, seeing Cee Lo Green on Rockefeller Plaza (he is as small as you think he is), finding the perfect burlap giraffe for the baby's nursery, the prarie dogs at the Maryland Zoo (I wish I could show a video of how funny they are), macaroni and cheese with roasted apples from Founding Farmers in DC, an incredible tour of the United States Capitol building, getting gourmet cupcakes from THREE of DC's most famous bakeries and choosing our fave, and just laughing until we cry because my mom, brother, and husband are hilarious. Sigh... what a perfect week it was.

Pregnancy pillow goes wherever I go.

The Easiest Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe

Okay I'm going to start by saying "Thank you SO much!" to Kolby's Grandma, Vicki Smith, who gave me this recipe.  It is the EASIEST and YUMMIEST (is that a word?) pumpkin chocolate chip recipe out there.  They aren't the most beautiful cookies because the dough isn't really the kind you can roll into balls but they are so fluffy and just down right delicious, no one will care what they look like. Your life will be changed and for that, you're welcome. :)

 Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:
2 Boxes Spice Cake Mix
1 Large Can Pumpkin Puree
2 Bags Chocolate Chips

Directions:
1.) Mix all ingredients together
2.) Spoon on to greased or lined cooking sheet
3.) Bake at 375 degrees for 14-17 minutes

I made my spoonfuls pretty large and filled three baking sheets (so about 32 cookies) but you can make them whatever size you think is best. Enjoy!
